Re: 300zxclub.com

well here is the short side of the story. the admins have TAKEN YOUR MONEY AND RAN there is no more 3ZC....

damnit, we ran the site for free didn;t we? okay managed.com has been purchased by webhostplus.com. the issue is they are moving data from cali to fortlee NJ. with IP's so it is taking forever to get them migrated. the second issue they are putting us on celeron p4 servers with old CPUs. our drive capacity is shrinking to 80 gigs. the other issue is our server hold more then the 80 gigs of data so who knows what is going to happen yet.

we where never alerted to this move until i emailed the DC and they said hi we are migrating. also there is no order as to how the servers ar being restored they are going kinda random and servers just appear online......

a second note is there is talk of legal action against managed tha hold sites with them. the people that did get emails from the company says in writing they garruntee no more then 2 hours downtime.... we have been down since the 5th....

AWWW YEAH Pete!! Lets sue the bastards!! I knew they were moving things around, but this is pathetic. I'd have donated some server space on one of my boxes, if someone else wanted to upload that 4gb database lol

WOW, they can do that. Once again it appears that the business world has forgotten who the customers are and who the service providers are.

The business world quit giving a shit about the customer a long time ago.
Most businesses have a new motto "How can we screw you today".

I canceled my old AOL home account the other day. Took 45 minutes to get thru and another 45 minutes talking to some non-english speaking dude who kept reminding me I'd had the account for 8 1/2 years why cancel it. Then he tells me if I'll keep it he can drop it to 9.95 a month for the same package. How many ways do you have to tell them to cancel the damn account. I haven't used the account for almost a year, my home system isn't on line anymore, why do I need to keep it.
I about told them to call Shris "he cares".

Hehe.... I have a rather long list of companies that won't get my money anymore and it's still growing.

It just killed me when AT&T bought SBC recently, cuz I vowed to never give AT&T any of my money again. Then they go and buy the land lines. Oh well, at least the AT&T that I despised actually went into Cingular, who won't be getting any of my money either. They do get plenty of the wifeez money tho.
