Detailed the Z this weekend
The z got her spring detailing on saturday. She got washed, claybared, washed again, then waxed I've gotta say this is the first time I've claybared a car, and I'm liking the results The paint is soooo smooth. Since saturday night I've gotten compliments from both my parents, my g/f's parents, my g/f, and even some random guy at Wawa, so I guess it looks good :p
Anyway, on to the pics. Enjoy

The paint does look very good; the clear coat looks really deep. Nice job! Another fine Z

Ya know the first few weeks I had my z, I had a guy in a sweet(read: EXPENSIVE looking) benz ask how much it would take to take it off my hands. This was with the car looking like this (see top two pics). Since then, I haven't gotten asked again. I should have thrown out a crazy price just for the hell of it Thanks for the compliments guys Now I just need to get some better picture taking skills so I can get some pics that do it justice. Of course it's downpouring right now, and is supposed to rain for the next week On that note, am I the only one who loves seeing water bead up on a freshly waxed car? |

Re: Detailed the Z this weekend
If I can find time to wax I would, but for now I just wash it every other day. So sad. I hate pollen too. Car looks good though!

California Car duster. It's a godsend in the spring. I put it in my hatch the night I washed it, and have dusted it off twice a day since. Besides a few water spots dew, it looked like I just washed it every day until it poured the other night. http://www.calcarduster.com/ |
