To start the ball rolling

I was surprised to see that there are no posts for the early Zs, so I thought I'd start one by introducing myself, a member from Downunder.

For anybody interested, I have 2 x 300ZXs and 1 x 1974 26OZ, although I jokingly refer to it as a REAL 350Z, as it has a 350 sbc installed. I may well be flamed by the purists for not having a stock 260Z, but that's OK.

I am about to fit a Tremec T56 to the 260Z in place of the 350 Auto it has at present. Wondering if anyone here has done this as there are a few challenges.

Appreciate any experience from others on appropriate flywheel, clutch master cylinder, etc, (e.g. the T56 uses the hydraulic throw-out bearing).

Cheers,

Wal F

Is this up? Can you show us more albums or some images available on line. If you have a blog about this I would like to read it as well.
