The only reason to change your hood out on a car is to save weight, and in Z32s cases, it doesnt, the OEM is lighter than CF. Keep it on there.

But stock hoods arent vented, once you get some nice big tubs under the hood, vents really do help. trust me. Even stock, you know how much heat lives under the hood of the Z. You can lower the engine temps pretty damn good by getting (or custom venting the stock) a vented hood. But it all depends if you're gonna get a vented hood just to look cool, or to acctually keep engine temps down. (trust me, a few laps on a track and youll def notice a difference. Shit, just lettin tha car warm up youll be able to feel a good amount of heat escaping from the vents.

yea, escort kicks ass, its the best of both worlds. Lighter than stock (which is hard to get) and vented. All in all with the other hoods (border- which is a fuckin good one, VIS, etc) its kind of a draw. You get a little bit of weight added (not much, but its not lighter), but its vented...without the escorts hefty price tag. But yea, escort kicks ass. Im gettin a border though. Think they look better than the escort :o !

Get the CF VIS racing one yo. JK. My only thing with Escort's hood is that scoop at the front. I know it's functional, but I don't like it.
