Ok aim new to this forum and so far it LOOKS great! I really like it. Here is my car issue, last week I drove in town and washed my car and the motor. It has been sitting around for 3 years, it was dirty. After I was done I drove to advance auto to pick up a new cone filter (got rid of the air box) and it ran fine till I got home and shut it off, then I got rid of the air box, I wanted to test the new air filter, so I started it up and tried to go down the road and it would go up in rpms ? It was cutting out, sounded like it was missing firing or wasn’t getting fuel , I had to pump the throttle to get it go. I figured water got to something. I checked all the plugs and connections and all the vacuum lines and still runs the same. I started it back again and went down the road and got it up past 3,000 rpm’s and it seemed to clear up. I noticed that once I get it up past 3,000 rpms it clears up and then it’s fine and runs good. But if I shut it off it does it all over again. Could this be a faulty MAF? :confused:
