so is the CF hood really heavier than the stock hood? cuz i'm really close to buying one because it looks good. but if its heavier, im not sure if i wanna deal with that. what do you guys think?

Yes it is heavier, the OEM Z32 hood is made of Aluminum and is very very light, CF is not a good choice and most of them fit like crap. IMO stay with the OEM hood.

I have a carbonfiber hood and it weighs maybe 25-30 pounds thats being generous, my stock aluminum one was folded like a taco. But it probably depends on what company you buy from.

OEM aluminum will always be lighter than CF hoods for the Z32. They're just for looks, or a cheap replacement if you have an insurance steel hood.
