Just so this part of the fourms isn't completely lonely, I'll put up a thread on my springs.

From most of the searching I've done, I can never really find any pics or info on Tein S. Techs on a 300ZX.

Well I have them installed on my car:

Here's what my car looked like before, as I bought it, with generic worn struts:

The car is now also sitting on Tokico HP struts, the "blues."

I'd hightly recommend them to anyone looking for a lowering spring, with a little more of a drop than the Eibachs. In my opinion, they ride a lot smoother than stock, being only a little rough going over manholes and bad spots on the road. Other than that, they're beautiful. They dropped my car almost 1.5" and I couldn't be happier.

So yeah, anyone ever wanting info on these from experience, here ya go.

I'm so lazy when it comes to switching those wheels. I always here about the wheel police.............one day I'm gonna actually get pulled over by them and get beat with a night stick for doing so!

Isn't that b4 pic the pic that you posted with the rear springs on the front?

Oh those aren't rear springs in the front. That's POS generic struts on front, and completely shot OEM struts on the rear. The springs on the front are OEM springs. It just sat weird as hell.

But yeah, finally got that stupid dilemma out the way. Now I can direct my attention towards fun modifications.

Looks WAY better....... I'm surprised on the Tein S. Tech springs, cuz I've read where they supposedly lower the car 1.5 inches like you said, but your car doesn't look that low. Your fender-to-wheel gap looks to be about the same as mine with stock springs.

And I love it! It's not slammed, but is apparently lower, especially when driving down the road. Keep in mind that my new springs/struts are still only about a month in, so there's still time to wear. With the new wheels on the way hopefully later this month, and the Hipers coming a few weeks, she's gonna start looking good!

I agree. They look stock..which bothers me since I wanted to buy these same springs and was expecting a lower ride.

I am planning to lower my car this weekend & I am figuring things out if what brand should I go.

Eibach or tein, both are good.
